Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager develops CBOT's business by identifying new market, sector, customer segment and partnership opportunities and turning them into sustainable revenue. The role works with the technical, product and marketing teams and helps shape CBOT's market approach.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new markets, sectors and customer segments for growth
• Prepare business development plans and build relationships with target organisations and decision-makers
• Define the use case and business case for each customer's problem
• Coordinate proposal and RFP/RFI processes
• Develop new opportunity channels through industry events and partnerships
• Share market insights with the product and marketing teams

Required profile

• At least 4 years of business development experience in B2B technology or SaaS
• Proven track record of creating new business opportunities and closing enterprise deals
• Ability to communicate with senior executives in business terms
• Experience managing long sales processes with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent command of Turkish and English
• Preferred: experience in AI, voice AI, customer experience or enterprise software; a professional network in finance, insurance, telecom or retail
