Business Development Manager - Sustainability (Caspian)

About the role

Join Bureau Veritas as a Business Development Manager focused on sustainability across the Caspian region. You will drive growth of BV’s sustainability services while building strong relationships with key industry players.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop the sustainability sales pipeline across Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia.
• Build and maintain relationships with NOCs, international operators, project sponsors and listed corporates.
• Drive sales of BV sustainability services such as GHG verification, methane management, CBAM pre‑verification, ESG assurance and advisory.
• Lead proposal development for Caspian sustainability mandates.
• Represent BV at regional industry events and sustainability forums.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of commercial or technical experience in sustainability, ESG, energy or environmental services in Turkey or the Caspian region.
• Proven track record selling to oil & gas, mining or industrial clients.
• Established professional network in Turkey and/or Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan or Georgia.
• Fluency in English and Turkish or Russian; Kazakh or Azerbaijani is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, environmental science, energy or a related field.
