Electrical Maintenance Team Leader

About the role

PepsiCo is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Team Leader to join its team at the İzmir plant. The role ensures more effective and efficient operations continuity by planning and performing electrical maintenance activities and by determining, planning and implementing projects based on research of new technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop electrical technicians, and supervise subcontractors
• Manage predictive, planned, preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance, and periodic controls
• Analyze failures using root cause methods such as 5 Why and fishbone diagrams to keep breakdown rates at target
• Lead new capital expenditure projects and take part in Lean, standard work, productivity and improvement projects
• Follow the department budget, manage quality, productivity, improvement and reconstruction projects, and manage critical spare parts stock
• Manage the MyBuy process with purchasing, approve incoming materials and coordinate new personnel orientation with HR
• Ensure compliance with GEHSMS, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, FSSC, AIB and other programmes, and manage fire safety, work safety and permits
• Support energy management, environmental legislation and food safety systems, and accompany FM Global audits
• Prepare presentations for the Technical Systems department and liaise with government and private institutions

Required profile

• Electrical engineering background
• 4-6 years of experience, including industrial maintenance
• Well-spoken and written English
• Certified Energy Manager preferred
