IP Project Manager

About the role

An experienced Project Manager is sought to lead end-to-end delivery of IP network projects in Turkey. The role covers everything from bidding and solution development through contract execution, implementation, customer acceptance, invoicing and payment collection. It combines project management, engineering, commercial and customer relationship skills, and works closely with customers, partners, subcontractors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support IP project bidding with engineering solutions, project plans, resource requirements and cost estimates.
• Negotiate contracts with customers, defining scope, responsibilities, pricing, acceptance criteria, invoicing and payment terms, penalties and change management.
• Manage contracts and commercial relationships with outsourcing partners on a back-to-back basis.
• Maintain high customer and partner satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and manage the IP project delivery team, its structure, roles, communication channels and workflows.
• Manage risks, issues and escalations, and resolve customer complaints and critical issues promptly.
• Keep project costs within budget, quality to design and acceptance standards, and progress to the agreed schedule.
• Ensure timely acceptance, invoicing and payment collection, and drive profitability and new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics, Telecommunications, Project Management or a related field.
• More than 3 years of team management experience in IP projects.
• Experience in project management, engineering management, IP network planning and turnkey projects strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in both English and Turkish, with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of IP network products: BNG (Broadband Network Gateway) networks, MPLS networks, routers and switches.
• Good knowledge of local engineering design, implementation, materials standards, technical specifications and acceptance requirements.
• Strong project planning, team leadership, risk management, cost control and commercial management.
