Legal Intern – Corporate, Real Estate and Litigation

About the role

A law firm in the Şişli district of Istanbul is looking for a long-term, highly motivated legal intern. The intern contributes proactively to the team with a solid legal background and strong research and writing skills, supporting lawyers in corporate, real estate and litigation matters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on various areas of law.
• Support lawyers in corporate, real estate and litigation matters.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing legal documentation.
• Monitor court files and follow up on hearings and deadlines.
• Review public authorities' websites and official registries for legal updates and case tracking.
• Coordinate communication with clients, public institutions and third parties.
• Translate legal documents between English and Turkish.
• Take part in team discussions and share knowledge.

Required profile

• Degree in law from a reputable university.
• Strong academic background and analytical thinking.
• Advanced written and spoken Turkish and English (advanced preferred).
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with a clear sense of teamwork and professional responsibility.

Required skills

• Good command of MS Office programs.
• Use of legal research tools.
