About the role
Aslan & Tok Law Office provides consultancy, advocacy and mediation services to local and foreign companies. Its Istanbul office is looking for an Associate to represent clients in court and arbitration proceedings and to follow up on cases.
Key responsibilities
- Represent clients in court proceedings and arbitration, ensuring the best outcomes
- Handle cases of all kinds and follow them up
- Draft key legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, opinions and legal reports
- Analyse client needs and expectations to interact effectively with senior personnel and legal authorities
- Contribute continuously to legal processes through training, research and independent learning
Required profile
- At least 3 years of legal experience
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to work in a dynamic office with flexible hours and to work autonomously while contributing to teamwork
- Commercial awareness, analytical and proactive thinking, self-discipline and eagerness to learn
Required skills
- Communication, negotiation and representation skills
- Time management and prioritisation
- Multi-functional work under pressure
