Preconstruction Project Management Professional (PM / JPM / APM)

About the role

LANE PEOPLE & PROJECTS, an international design and project management consultancy covering logistics, industrial, commercial and hospitality sectors, is hiring Preconstruction Project Management Professionals in Istanbul. The Project Management Department plans, coordinates and delivers complex architectural, engineering and construction projects, focusing on preconstruction and also supporting construction-phase work. Positions are offered at three levels: Project Manager (10+ years), Junior Project Manager (5+ years) and Assistant Project Manager (0-2 years).

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects: prepare and update schedules, work breakdown structures, risk registers, issue logs, change registers and progress reports.
• Manage preconstruction and design: coordinate architects, engineers and consultants, support feasibility, constructability reviews, cost estimation, tendering and permitting.
• Act as key contact for clients and stakeholders, lead meetings in English and manage expectations and reporting.
• Depending on the project, support construction monitoring, RFIs, submittals, quality coordination, closeout and handover.
• Support proposals, contracts, tender documents and corporate project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant project management experience appropriate to the position level.
• Excellent written and spoken English in an international setting.
• Full-time availability in the Istanbul office; logistics, industrial or airport facility experience is a plus.
• Preferred: international consultancy experience, knowledge of Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, and PMP or CAPM certification.
