Robotic Process Automation Developer – Part‑time Student Role

About the role

We are looking for a motivated university student to join Bosch’s Smart Start recruitment days as a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer. The role is part‑time, allowing you to work on real‑world automation projects while continuing your studies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable end‑to‑end automation solutions using RPA platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot RPA processes in daily operations, resolving issues promptly.
• Document technical designs and automation lifecycle artifacts according to Bosch standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Support digital transformation initiatives by integrating AI/ML concepts and LLM‑based tools where appropriate.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Available to work at least three days per week during the academic semester.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Familiarity with RPA tools such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Automation Anywhere or KNIME.
• Programming experience with Python, VBA or similar languages.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and ETL processes.
