Senior Data Analyst - Wholesale Banking & Advanced Analytics

About the role

ING Hubs Türkiye is hiring a Senior Data Analyst for its Wholesale Banking Advanced Analytics team. You will work with large-scale datasets and modern analytics platforms to turn complex data into insights that improve operational efficiency, support strategic decisions and enhance client experience across ING's global banking network. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Tribes, Process Leaders, Data Engineers and Data Scientists, owning the path from business question to analytical solution.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets using SQL, Python and PySpark
• Build reporting solutions, dashboards and visualizations with Power BI, Cognos or similar BI platforms
• Identify trends, patterns and improvement opportunities in Wholesale Banking processes
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and recommendations
• Work with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to deliver scalable analytics products
• Support data quality, profiling and analytics best practices
• Communicate findings through presentations, dashboards and reports
• Mentor junior analysts and support teams on predictive analytics, machine learning and AI

Required profile

• 4-6 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, statistics or a related field
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on Python, especially PySpark
• Experience with large datasets and complex data environments
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, reporting methods and quantitative problem solving
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to understand and support machine learning and AI initiatives
• Advanced English proficiency

Required skills

• Data visualization and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos or Superset
• SQL, Python and PySpark
• Advantageous: dbt, modern data platforms, financial services, banking analytics or data pipelines
