Sustainability Manager

About the role

Raffles Istanbul, a luxury hotel in Zorlu Center overlooking the Bosphorus, is looking for a Sustainability Manager. The role suits a passionate, proactive and detail-oriented professional committed to sustainability, environmental responsibility and sustainable luxury hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Implement sustainable practices and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards
• Monitor environmental performance, manage waste and promote energy and water efficiency
• Carry out sustainability reporting and data analysis
• Promote environmental awareness among colleagues and stakeholders while maintaining high standards of luxury hospitality and guest experience

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management or ESG roles, preferably in hospitality
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment is an asset
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage

Required skills

• Sustainability reporting, environmental performance monitoring and data analysis
• Knowledge of environmental legislation, sustainability standards and best practices
• Understanding of energy efficiency, water conservation, waste management and carbon footprint reduction
• Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 50001, Green Key or GSTC is an advantage
• Advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
