Technical Services Specialist

About the role

As a Technical Services Specialist you will provide on‑site technical support, corrective maintenance, repair and servicing of Stryker medical devices used in hospitals and clinics across Turkey. Based in Istanbul, you will travel to customer sites for about 70% of your working time, ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fault detection, troubleshooting, repair and corrective maintenance of Stryker products at customer sites and the Istanbul office.
• Test and verify equipment after repairs, complete accurate service and test reports, and carry out upgrades, preventive maintenance and calibrations as required.
• Support installation, commissioning and servicing of equipment in hospitals and clinics, and provide technical support to customers, service partners and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate service, repair and equipment records, monitor spare‑part requirements and communicate critical inventory needs.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints in line with Stryker’s quality and service procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; experience in technical, engineering, medical‑device or field‑service environments is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Turkish, both written and spoken.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel approximately 70% across Turkey.

Required skills

• Strong technical aptitude for fault detection, troubleshooting and repair of biomedical equipment.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
