UI/UX Artist - Casual Games

About the role

Panteon is looking for a UI/UX artist to join its team of teammates who want to improve every day and share their energy with others. The role covers the UI and 2D visual assets (icons, buttons, artwork) of mobile games that reach millions of players, working closely with the Game Design and Development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the UI and 2D visual assets of mobile games.
• Work with Game Design and Development teams and take part in the full production pipeline, from concept to live product.
• Design clear, readable and visually strong UI elements that contribute to both functionality and visual quality.
• Help shape the overall player experience through thoughtful UI/UX decisions.
• Contribute to the creation of new casual games.

Required profile

• Strong enthusiasm for casual game development.
• Experience designing UI for mobile games.
• Ability to work on UI/UX design, icons, buttons, artwork and 2D visual assets.
• Understanding of user flows, screen hierarchy and interaction decisions.
• Solid understanding of light, shadow, form, composition and color.
• Ability to work in harmony with existing visual styles and assets, and to simplify complex game systems into clear interfaces.
• Preferred: experience with UI motion or basic animation, UI style guides and agile environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or similar visual design tools.
• Keeping up with current mobile UI trends and best practices.
