Account Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Account Manager to lead commercial relationships with domestic and international automotive OEM customers for a global leader in steel and aluminium wheel manufacturing. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, from RFQ coordination to final project delivery, while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day commercial relationships with OEM customers worldwide.
• Coordinate RFQ processes, prepare quotations and drive negotiations to project completion.
• Update customer pricing based on raw‑material and market fluctuations.
• Support annual budget planning and monthly forecasting for assigned accounts.
• Facilitate new product launches and ensure smooth communication between customers and internal teams.
• Monitor purchase orders, tooling payments, deliveries and project milestones.
• Track customer payments and work with Finance on outstanding receivables.
• Analyse automotive market trends, production volumes and industry developments.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production and Finance to meet customer expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in automotive OEM sales, key account or customer management.
• Proven experience managing OEM accounts within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of RFQ, pricing, forecasting and commercial processes.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.
