Accounting Manager

About the role

YEO, a leading Turkish engineering and renewable energy company, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee accounting processes for its international subsidiaries and support its fast‑growing operations in Kartal, Istanbul.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting processes of international subsidiaries in line with local regulations and a uniform chart of accounts.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing procedures and prepare statutory financial statements.
• Oversee tax planning, tax declarations, VAT refund processes, and e‑invoice/e‑ledger operations.
• Conduct budgeting, cash‑flow analysis, and financial evaluations.
• Coordinate independent audit processes and lead the accounting team’s development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 13 years of accounting experience, preferably in multinational companies.
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA/SMMM) license holder.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS/UFRS applications.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with accounting software, specifically Canias ERP system.
