Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to own Constantia Propak’s accounting operations, strengthen compliance and internal controls, develop the accounting team and support continuous finance process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness and integrity of financial records.
• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing in line with Turkish statutory requirements and Group reporting deadlines.
• Oversee accounting for sales, purchasing, operating expenses, banking, imports/exports, foreign currency, fixed assets and period‑end adjustments.
• Review balance‑sheet accounts and ensure timely reconciliations of customer, supplier, intercompany and general‑ledger accounts.
• Ensure compliance with Turkish tax legislation, statutory requirements and company policies, including tax declarations and VAT refunds.
• Coordinate external and tax audits while maintaining a strong internal control environment.
• Lead, coach and develop the accounting team, planning workload and fostering professional growth.
• Drive process standardisation, automation and continuous improvement across accounting and finance.
• Collaborate with local and international stakeholders, including Group Accounting, Division Finance and shared‑service teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team‑lead role.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish statutory accounting, tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, handling financial closing, tax filings, VAT refunds and external audits.
• Professional working proficiency in English and ability to work with international stakeholders.

Required skills

• Hands‑on SAP FI experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
