Accounting Specialist – SAP & Automation Focus

About the role

The Accounting Specialist will support daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legislation while driving digital transformation of finance processes. You will work closely with business units and technology teams to automate and improve accounting workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting tasks, maintain accurate records, and support period‑end closing.
• Perform control, reconciliation, and analysis of accounting accounts.
• Identify root causes of process issues and propose permanent solutions.
• Spot opportunities for standardisation, simplification and automation, including RPA and AI use cases.
• Contribute to the digitalisation of accounting processes on SAP S/4HANA and related systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, with knowledge of general accounting and basic tax practices.
• Familiarity with SAP FI; interest or experience with SAP S/4HANA processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
