Analytics Engineer

About the role

LC Waikiki is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join its Data Delivery teams within the Analytics Department. You will own end‑to‑end data analytics solutions, from ingestion to reporting, and contribute to the company’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain incremental data pipelines on Google BigQuery using Dataform and Airflow.
• Create semantic models and enterprise reporting solutions with the Microsoft BI stack (SSAS Tabular, Power BI, SSRS).
• Provide KPIs and analytical capabilities to internal web applications (.NET Core / Python FastAPI back‑ends with React front‑ends) via well‑designed data serving layers.
• Collaborate with business units to define product vision and turn analytical requirements into long‑lived data products.
• Champion data governance, quality, documentation, lineage and testing across owned solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Statistics or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong Python programming skills.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud data warehouses (preferably Google BigQuery) and transformation frameworks such as Dataform or dbt.
• Production‑level experience building and orchestrating data pipelines with Airflow or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of modern data architectures (Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, Medallion, Data Mesh) and dimensional modeling.
