Assistant Director of Sales, Group & Events

About the role

We are looking for an accomplished Assistant Director of Sales, Group & Events to lead revenue growth through strategic group and events sales initiatives at The Grand Tarabya Managed by Accor in Istanbul.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of sales professionals to exceed group and events sales targets.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to capture market opportunities in the group and events segment.
• Manage and nurture relationships with key corporate clients, meeting planners and event organizers.
• Oversee negotiation and closure of group and events contracts, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with operations, marketing and other departments for seamless program execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years progressive sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in group and events sales within hospitality.
• Strong analytical ability to forecast revenue and develop business insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using CRM software platforms.
• Familiarity with sales analytics tools.
