Assistant Restaurant Manager – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports daily restaurant operations in a luxury hotel setting, ensuring exceptional service across all meal periods. This role combines leadership, guest relations, and operational oversight to deliver memorable dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations and maintaining high service standards.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, guest‑focused environment.
• Build strong relationships with guests, proactively address feedback, and ensure memorable dining experiences.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership on menu offerings, promotions, and operational improvements.
• Assist in managing labor costs, scheduling, inventory, cash handling, reporting, and departmental profitability.

Required profile

• University degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 1‑2 years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant, hotel, or luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities to motivate and develop teams.
• Solid understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, budgeting, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in English and computer applications, including Microsoft Office and POS systems.
