Assistant Supply Planning Manager

About the role

Unilever is hiring an Assistant Supply Planning Manager (WL1) for its Turkey operations, based in Ümraniye and reporting to the Supply Planning Manager. The role covers the whole HPC category supply end-to-end, with a focus on service levels, inventory optimisation and cost performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the whole HPC category supply end-to-end to deliver competitive service levels to customers while optimising costs and business waste KPIs against ideal inventory levels.
• Coordinate end-to-end supply planning processes for optimal service, inventory and cost performance.
• Lead the E2E supply planning digitalisation agenda and projects, including digital solutions for No Touch MRP and No Touch Production Planning.
• Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Logistics, Finance, IT, MDM, Trade Operations and CX teams to implement supply chain optimisation opportunities.
• Lead inventory management: monitor stock levels, set and review safety and cycle stock targets linked to service levels, and run loss tree analysis and zero-based inventory (ZBI) initiatives.
• Drive service KPIs, define loss stratification and countermeasures, and lead the UMS CSA pillar and continuous improvement in the planning function.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in an engineering department.
• Minimum 3-4 years' experience in similar positions, preferably in planning.
• Excellent written and spoken Turkish and English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; affinity for innovation and new technologies.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to work with stakeholders and external site partners in a dynamic environment.
