Audit & Assurance Long-Term Intern

About the role

Centrum Turkey is an independent audit firm offering audit, assurance and financial reporting services to companies across many industries, under Turkish Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS), IFRS and other frameworks. It is looking for motivated candidates to join its Audit & Assurance team as long-term interns, with hands-on experience, exposure to local and international clients and learning from experienced audit professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in planning and performing independent audit engagements
• Analyse financial statements, accounting records and supporting documentation
• Perform assigned audit procedures and prepare working papers under the guidance of experienced team members
• Support financial reporting work under TFRS and IFRS
• Assist with client information requests and follow up on outstanding documents
• Help complete engagements on time while maintaining professional standards and confidentiality

Required profile

• Final-year undergraduate student, graduate or master's student in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Availability to work five days a week
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to manage several tasks and meet deadlines
• Collaborative attitude, willingness to learn and strong communication skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
