Audit Team Member – Istanbul & Izmir

About the role

Join Allianz Türkiye’s Internal Audit team and contribute to a globally connected audit function. You will lead end‑to‑end audit engagements, assess business processes and controls, and leverage data analytics to deliver actionable insights while supporting the organization’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planning, fieldwork, reporting, closing and follow‑up activities for internal audit engagements in line with global and local standards.
• Assess business processes, risks and internal controls and provide practical, sustainable improvement recommendations.
• Utilize data‑analytics tools throughout the audit lifecycle for risk assessment, testing and insight generation.
• Act as a trusted partner across the organization, supporting special investigations, technology transformation and professional practice initiatives.
• Contribute to the Internal Audit function’s technology and digital transformation journey.
• Stay informed on emerging risks, regulatory developments and business trends, integrating them into audit work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, MIS or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in internal/external audit, risk management, internal control, accounting or advisory.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CRMA, SMMM/CPA are a plus; candidates pursuing certifications are welcome.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and communication skills in English.
• Curiosity, ownership, growth mindset and ability to manage stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience with data‑analytics tools and SQL (or similar technologies).
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) development, Data Analytics, Data Intelligence, AI/Data Strategy and ChatGPT.
