About the role
CBRE is seeking a Building Technician to maintain small to medium‑sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and supporting energy efficiency across various building systems.
Key responsibilities
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues, and execute repairs or modifications.
- Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and track work order completion.
- Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Required profile
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1‑2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Ability to meet physical demands such as stooping, climbing ladders, and lifting loads of 50 lb or more.
- Strong communication skills for clear, concise information exchange.
- Organizational mindset with an inquisitive approach to tasks.
