Business Controlling Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Controlling Manager to join KONE’s Finance team in Istanbul. The role acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial insight, performance analysis and decision support to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with business leaders and act as the key finance advisor.
• Develop deep understanding of operations, performance drivers and key metrics.
• Evaluate industry, economic and market trends to assess short‑, medium‑ and long‑term performance.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations for strategic and operational decisions.
• Monitor and validate accuracy of management, financial and volume reporting and performance KPIs.
• Analyze weekly and monthly business performance, identify variances against budget, forecast and prior‑year results.
• Prepare executive‑level performance summaries highlighting opportunities and risks.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with key financial assumptions and validate outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Business Controlling, FP&A or similar finance role.
• Strong commercial acumen, sound judgment and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build effective partnerships.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and accountability.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in reporting and consolidation tools.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence applications.
