Business Development Emerging Markets

About the role

The Business Development Emerging Markets role supports identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic growth opportunities across designated emerging markets, focusing on generics, complex generics, established brands, and assets nearing loss of exclusivity.

Key responsibilities

• Support identification and screening of opportunities across generics, complex generics, established brands, and LOE assets in emerging markets.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis across multiple countries.
• Maintain regional deal pipeline tracking and reporting.
• Assist in financial modeling and valuation analysis (NPV, IRR, scenario modeling).
• Collaborate with Regional and Local Commercial teams to align BD initiatives with market needs.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development, commercial strategy, consulting, investment banking, or strategic finance.
• Experience in Emerging Markets preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to work across multiple geographies and navigate diverse regulatory environments.

Required skills

• Financial modeling (risk‑adjusted DCF, NPV, IRR, scenario modeling).
• Comparable company analysis (Comps).
• Market research and competitive analysis.
