Business Development Executive – Marine

About the role

Aflex Ships Equipment is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to grow its marine equipment business in Turkey. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building relationships with shipowners, shipyards and related companies, and driving sales of pumps, electric motors and spare parts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Turkish marine market.
• Visit shipowners, ship management companies, shipyards and marine service firms regularly.
• Generate enquiries and promote marine pumps, electric motors, spare parts and other equipment.
• Coordinate quotations and product support with global sales and technical teams.
• Maintain CRM records, provide weekly and monthly sales updates and work towards agreed sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of sales or business development experience in the maritime industry.
• Strong existing contacts and relationships within the Turkish marine market.
• Fluency in Turkish and English.
• Ability to work independently, travel across Turkey and hold a valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced use of MS Office applications.
