Business Development Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth in the Turkish wind energy market by identifying new opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and supporting tender and proposal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and qualify new business opportunities in the wind energy sector.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with customers, developers, investors, IPPs and EPC companies.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, presentations, RFQs, RFPs and tender submissions.
• Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and project scope.
• Coordinate with technical, commercial, contract, finance, legal, supply chain and project teams throughout the sales cycle.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory developments and competitor activities in Turkey.
• Provide regular pipeline and business development reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales or commercial roles, preferably in wind or renewable energy.
• Strong understanding of the Turkish renewable energy and wind power market.
• Proven experience in customer relationship management, commercial negotiations and tendering.
• Fluent in Turkish and English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel regularly for customer meetings and industry events.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
