Chief of Sales Group - Telematics

About the role

Teltonika, which develops and produces GPS tracking devices for fleet management in logistics, agriculture, car sharing and construction, is looking for a Chief of Sales Group to lead its sales operation in Turkey and drive sustainable growth in the Turkish market. The role is based in Istanbul and focuses on building a strong local sales team, expanding the customer base and strengthening ties with key customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and develop Teltonika's sales operations in Istanbul
• Build, lead and coach a local sales team
• Act as a hands-on sales leader, combining team leadership with direct involvement in key customer and partner engagements
• Drive revenue growth, pipeline quality and market penetration
• Adapt HQ-defined strategies to the region according to local market conditions
• Contribute to market research, identify market potential and growth opportunities
• Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting and CRM discipline
• Collaborate with headquarters and regional stakeholders
• Develop new business with corporate customers, distributors and business partners
• Monitor sales performance against targets and improve results and team effectiveness

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in a technology-driven environment
• Strong leadership and people development capabilities
• Native Turkish and business-level English
• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring team members is a strong advantage
• Willingness to travel within Turkey and occasionally abroad for customer meetings, events or training
