Civil Design Engineer – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

RES is seeking a motivated Civil Design Engineer to support the design and development of renewable energy infrastructure, primarily wind farms but also solar and energy storage facilities. You will work closely with the Civil Design Engineering Lead and senior engineers, contributing to daily project activities and delivering high‑quality civil designs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare geometric designs of civil infrastructure using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including site access roads, crane hard‑standing areas, and cable routes.
• Produce design drawings that comply with local and international standards and generate earthwork volume calculations and quantity reports.
• Support the Project Development Team by creating maps, layout plans, and technical drawings for submission to authorities and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors delivering topographic survey data and soil investigation reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geodesy, Photogrammetry, or a related field.
• Experience in civil design engineering or a strong motivation to develop expertise in renewable‑energy infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ability to work with multinational standards.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Site construction experience is an advantage.
