Consultant – Retail Agency

About the role

Cushman & Wakefield | TR International is seeking an entrepreneurial Consultant to join its Retail Agency team in Istanbul. You will advise occupiers, landlords and investors on retail real estate, handling business development, site selection, leasing strategy, tenant representation and transaction management.

Key responsibilities

• Originate new business through proactive networking and leveraging existing client relationships.
• Develop and manage trusted relationships with landlords, occupiers, retailers, banks and other retail users.
• Advise clients on leasing, tenant representation, renewals, subleases, terminations and disposals.
• Implement site‑selection strategies and conduct property searches for occupier clients.
• Create and execute marketing and leasing strategies for retail properties and portfolios.
• Manage leasing assignments from instruction through search, viewings, negotiations, documentation and completion.
• Prepare, negotiate and document lease proposals, coordinating with the Legal Department.
• Produce market reports, client presentations and internal tracking materials.
• Collaborate with Capital Markets, Valuation, Global Occupier Services and other service lines to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in retail agency and tenant representation.
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• Strong knowledge of the Istanbul retail market and an active network of prospective clients.
• Demonstrated business development, client relationship and negotiation capabilities.
• Self‑starting, entrepreneurial and results‑oriented mindset.
• Professional proficiency in English and Turkish.
• Valid Class B driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
