Controlling & Reporting Manager

About the role

Virgosol is redefining digital product quality through technology and AI. We are seeking a Controlling & Reporting Manager to lead financial controlling, FP&A, and performance management, turning data into strategic business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end closing, budget/forecast cycles and variance analysis.
• Build and maintain financial models, scenario studies and decision‑support reports for senior management.
• Track financial and operational KPIs, translating data into actionable insights for a product‑based company.
• Manage internal and external audit processes and proactively monitor financial risks.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, HR and Operations to ensure company‑wide data consistency.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in FP&A and financial controlling, with at least 5 years in a fast‑paced start‑up environment.
• Strong understanding of financial modelling and product‑based company structures.
• Advanced/Fluent English (written and verbal).
• High data literacy, strong problem‑solving skills and effective stakeholder management.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel mastery
• Hands‑on experience with Power Query
• SQL knowledge (plus)
