Controlling Smart Start Internship

About the role

Join Bosch’s Plant Controlling team in Yunusemre for a part‑time internship that gives you hands‑on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will support operational and digitalisation initiatives while learning the fundamentals of cost accounting and financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with standard unit costing, Bill of Materials (BOM) comparison and material cost variance analysis.
• Prepare routine cost‑tracking reports for plant management and department heads.
• Support monitoring of capital expenditures (CAPEX), investment depreciation and internal project tracking.
• Contribute to Planned Cost of Sales (PCOS) calculations and product cost evaluations.
• Participate in efficiency improvement and cost‑optimisation projects across value streams.
• Drive continuous‑improvement and digitalisation projects using Power BI, Power Query and emerging AI‑based productivity tools.
• Analyse operational and financial data to provide data‑driven insights.

Required profile

• Master’s student, preferably in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Previous internship or work experience in plant/financial controlling or production is strongly preferred.
• Availability to work at least four days per week.
• Advanced level of English and strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VBA/macros.
• Experience with SQL.
• Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query.
• Familiarity with AI‑based productivity tools (e.g., generative AI assistants).
