Convention & Events Sales Manager

About the role

The Convention & Events Sales Manager will drive sales for meetings, conferences, weddings and other group events at Swissôtel The Bosphorus, ensuring high revenue and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and execute sales call programmes, visiting existing and potential clients to generate demand.
• Handle inquiries from initial contact through contract signing, preparing proposals, contracts and quotations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping and other departments to ensure successful event execution.
• Negotiate rates and contractual terms while maintaining profitability.
• Maintain accurate records in the hotel’s CRM and sales systems and prepare sales reports, forecasts and market analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, tourism or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in convention & events, catering sales or hotel sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with hotel sales systems and CRM platforms.
