Cost and General Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are undergoing an organizational and digital transformation and need a highly analytical Cost and General Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team. You will own cost management and financial reporting, supporting manufacturing operations and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate, update and report unit costs per product and manage cost center structures.
• Track raw material, semi‑finished and finished product costs, perform inventory valuations and coordinate with Production, Purchasing and Planning.
• Prepare tax returns, monitor tax law changes and ensure statutory compliance.
• Create dynamic management reports using MS Excel and Power BI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, Turkish tax legislation and CPA (SMMM) licensing or pursuit.
• Completed military service (for male candidates) and residence on Istanbul’s European side.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP cost modules (Canias ERP preferred).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Power BI expertise.
