Creative Strategist, Growth Marketing

About the role

Canva is looking for a Creative Strategist to lead paid and organic marketing performance in Turkey. You will combine data, storytelling, and cultural insight to drive user growth across social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full creative cycle—from research and briefing to production, editing, and analysis—working with regional and global teams.
• Analyse performance dashboards, identify winners, diagnose underperformance, and design creative tests, lift studies, and attribution experiments.
• Define high‑performing creative for Turkish audiences on Meta, TikTok, Instagram and emerging platforms, building content systems informed by data and cultural moments.
• Brief and review UGC and localisation content, ensuring it is on‑brand and platform‑optimised.
• Collaborate with in‑house and agency partners, media buyers, data scientists, and the Europe Growth Marketing Lead.
• Support conversion rate optimisation initiatives across the acquisition funnel.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in creative strategy or performance marketing, with a proven track record of building high‑performing creative.
• Deep, genuine knowledge of the Turkish market and fluency in Turkish and English.
• Self‑directed, collaborative, and able to take ownership of outcomes in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of platform‑native formats for Meta, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube.
• Experience using performance dashboards, data tools, and measurement frameworks such as MMM and attribution.
• Ability to brief, iterate, and test creative in cross‑functional sprint cycles.
