Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to join our technology team and help protect our financial services platform. The role focuses on implementing data loss prevention, managing endpoint security, and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information across on‑premises and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, perform incident analysis, and follow up on policy violations.
• Conduct data discovery and classification across on‑premises and cloud environments to identify and label sensitive data.
• Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms for endpoint compliance and configuration management.
• Manage Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) / Extended Detection and Response (XDR) platforms and coordinate containment and eradication processes.
• Oversee certificate lifecycle processes (issuance, renewal, revocation) across internal PKI and third‑party certificate authorities.
• Contribute to Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) initiatives to maintain visibility into the organization’s asset and exposure landscape.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, procedures, and continuous‑improvement reports for security operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in security operations or enterprise information‑security environments.
• Hands‑on experience with DLP, data discovery & classification, and MDM technologies.
• Familiarity with CAASM concepts and tooling.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPN, and SSL/TLS.
• Basic scripting/programming skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python preferred).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.
• Proficiency in reading and writing technical English.
