Data Engineer

About the role

Marti, Turkey’s leading mobility app, is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design and maintain the data infrastructure that powers its ride‑hailing, e‑moped, e‑bike and e‑scooter services. You will work with a fast‑growing team to turn massive streams of raw data into reliable, actionable insights for product, analytics and data‑science teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collect data from diverse internal systems and create a single source of truth for Marti applications.
• Design, build, and operate scalable, reliable data pipelines and distributed processing systems.
• Develop patterns and frameworks to aggregate millions of records into actionable metrics quickly.
• Ensure data acquisition and processing pipelines run smoothly and meet quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with analysts and data scientists to fulfill data requirements.
• Document, promote, and enforce best practices across the data engineering team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Strong understanding of modern, cloud‑based data pipeline best practices.
• Experience with large‑scale data warehousing, data lake implementation and data modeling.
