Development Engineer – Heatcell Systems

About the role

As a Development Engineer you will act as the technical authority for Heatcell development within Bosch, driving engineering excellence and shaping the technology roadmap for our appliance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide system‑level expertise and guidance on complex Heatcell development topics.
• Design and deliver robust engineering solutions that meet product requirements, standards and long‑term strategy.
• Develop and maintain best‑practice design guidelines, technical methodologies and engineering standards.
• Lead technical investigations, risk assessments and root‑cause analyses.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering competency and knowledge sharing across international project teams.
• Support cross‑functional projects as a trusted technical advisor and contribute to technology roadmaps.

Required profile

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in Heatcell development and HVAC engineering.
• Deep understanding of Heatcell technologies and their interaction with overall appliance functionality.
• Strong knowledge of applicable engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven technical leadership, analytical thinking and structured problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills in an international environment.
