Digital Engineer – 3D Automotive & Product Configuration

About the role

Certusoft and MicroQBit are seeking an early‑career Digital Engineer to work on cloud‑based automotive and commercial vehicle applications, 3D product configuration, and engineering automation. The role is ideal for candidates with up to three years of experience or strong recent graduates with relevant project or internship experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product configuration rules, constraints, and engineering logic for 3D assemblies.
• Analyze vehicle and product data using 3D CAD tools and proprietary software.
• Validate, debug, and perform regression testing of 3D assets, product data, and configuration rules.
• Contribute to software and data workflows using Java, Python, SQL, and APIs.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer‑facing teams to resolve technical issues and document findings.
• Track tasks, priorities, and blockers in Jira and communicate project status.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Automotive, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience with 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo, DriveWorks) and programming (Java and/or Python).
• Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, and structured data is highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with professional proficiency in English.
• Curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to learn quickly in a collaborative environment.
