Director of Marketing and Communication

About the role

The Director of Marketing & Communication will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies for Fairmont Quasar Istanbul. This senior role is responsible for brand positioning, multi‑channel campaigns, and corporate communications, driving revenue growth and enhancing the hotel’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with organizational objectives and revenue targets.
• Lead, mentor and manage a diverse marketing and communications team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Oversee brand strategy and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
• Design and implement multi‑channel campaigns, including digital, social, content and traditional marketing.
• Analyze performance metrics and ROI to optimise campaigns and support data‑driven decisions.
• Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively and ensure financial efficiency.
• Develop corporate communication strategies, internal communications, public relations and stakeholder engagement.
• Build relationships with external partners, media outlets and key stakeholders.
• Lead crisis communication management and protect the organization’s reputation.

Required profile

• 8+ years progressive experience in marketing and communications, with at least 3 years in a director‑level role.
• Proven track record of creating and executing strategic marketing plans and multi‑channel campaigns.
• Strong background in brand management, corporate communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence across departments.
