Director of Marketing and Communication

About the role

Fairmont Quasar Istanbul, a managed hotel within Accor, is looking for an accomplished Director of Marketing and Communication to lead its marketing and communications initiative. This strategic leadership role oversees marketing strategies, brand positioning and corporate communication, and suits a visionary leader who has built high-performing teams and delivered measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with organizational objectives and revenue growth
• Lead, mentor and manage a diverse marketing and communications team
• Oversee brand strategy, positioning and messaging across all channels
• Design and run multi-channel campaigns (digital, social media, content, traditional)
• Analyze performance metrics and ROI to optimize campaigns
• Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources
• Run corporate communication, including internal comms, PR and stakeholder engagement
• Build relationships with partners, media and key stakeholders
• Customize marketing programs to market trends, competition and customer needs
• Lead crisis communication and reputation protection
• Work with sales, product and operations teams

Required profile

• 8+ years of progressive marketing and communications experience, including at least 3 years in a director-level or equivalent role
• Proven track record of leading marketing teams and delivering results
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Strategic thinking combined with tactical execution, and strong project management
• Preferred: event management and video marketing experience
