Director of Portfolio Operations

About the role

YXS Capital is seeking a Director of Portfolio Operations to drive value creation across its portfolio of high‑growth technology companies. Working closely with founders, managing partners and the investment team, you will translate strategic objectives into concrete initiatives that accelerate revenue, expand partnerships and scale operations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with portfolio companies to design and execute go‑to‑market strategies, revenue expansion plans and operational improvements.
• Identify bottlenecks and prioritize high‑impact projects that unlock growth.
• Leverage YXS Capital’s network to secure enterprise, government and strategic partnerships, and support deal structuring.
• Assist founders with hiring, process design and organizational development to enable scaling from early traction to sustained growth.
• Monitor key performance metrics across the portfolio, maintain visibility and intervene where needed.
• Lead cross‑portfolio initiatives, share best practices and foster collaboration among portfolio companies.
• Contribute to internal firm projects that align with evolving strategic priorities.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in consulting, operating roles, venture‑capital platform teams or high‑growth startups, preferably working directly with founders.
• Proven ability to diagnose problems, structure solutions and execute in fast‑moving environments.
• Strong commercial judgment with a track record of supporting revenue growth, partnership development or strategic initiatives.
• High work ethic and intensity, comfortable operating at the intersection of investment and execution.
