Director of Rooms

About the role

The Director of Rooms will lead the Rooms division at Mandarin Oriental Bodrum, ensuring exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure while upholding the brand’s legendary quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support company philosophy and culture through daily application of the Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences.
• Maintain grooming and appearance standards to reflect professionalism and care.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term action plans to meet objectives and standardise procedures.
• Schedule colleagues according to business needs and recommend changes in operating philosophy.
• Select and manage department managers and supervisors within approved policies and budgets.
• Review guest complaints and compliments, and communicate clearly with all staff levels.
• Prepare budgets, monthly forecasts, and capital expenditure plans for Rooms and minor operating departments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years in a similar senior position at a luxury hotel or resort, preferably international.
• Excellent communication skills in both Turkish and English.
• Proven experience managing large teams.
• University degree in Hospitality Management.
