Director of Sales & Marketing

About the role

The Peninsula Hotel is seeking a senior leader to drive sales and marketing strategy across all revenue streams. This executive will shape brand positioning, manage revenue performance and represent the hotel at the highest level.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual room, banquet and digital marketing strategies for key market segments.
• Own revenue‑management, e‑commerce and distribution strategies across direct and third‑party channels.
• Direct brand marketing, PR and communications while ensuring all assets meet luxury standards.
• Serve as spokesperson and advise the Executive Committee on sales, crisis management and brand reputation.
• Maintain high‑level luxury brand partnerships, travel partners and media relationships.
• Collaborate with Division Heads to drive performance of Food & Beverage, Spa & Wellness and ancillary services.
• Manage the annual Sales & Marketing budget, oversee division P&L and provide commercial analytics to senior leadership.
• Lead, coach and develop the Sales & Marketing team, handling succession planning and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Proven executive leadership experience in Sales & Marketing within a luxury hotel environment.
• Strategic thinker with deep expertise in revenue management, luxury brand PR, digital marketing and distribution channels.
• Strong financial acumen with success in budget management, P&L analysis and driving ROI.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching and team‑building capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, public speaking and crisis communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Turkish.
