Director / Vice President – M&A and Project Finance

About the role

The candidate will lead the execution of M&A transactions and project finance deals, overseeing all phases from origination to closing. This senior position requires strong expertise in finance, investment banking, and project finance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end execution of M&A and project finance transactions, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Develop transaction structures, financing strategies, and negotiation tactics to optimise deal terms.
• Lead the preparation of deal documentation, coordinate due diligence, and manage Q&A processes with investors.
• Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering technical and soft‑skill development.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with clients, investment partners, and industry experts to generate new business.
• Present investment opportunities and proposals, highlighting financial benefits and risks.
• Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for senior management and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity with a focus on M&A and project finance.
• Proven track record of successfully executing M&A and project finance deals.
• Strong analytical ability and deep knowledge of financial markets, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with senior stakeholders.
