Engineering Projects Execution Manager (Fixed Term, 2 Years)

About the role

Puratos is looking for an Engineering Projects Execution Manager for a fixed-term position of 2 years, based in Tire, Izmir. Due to its rapid growth, the role plays an important part in Operations: you will lead the end-to-end delivery of the chocolate factory construction project.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, development and execution of the chocolate factory project within scope, budget, timeline, quality, safety and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical and utilities designs so they are fit for purpose and technically compliant.
• Manage CAPEX processes, including budget preparation, cash flow forecasting, approvals and cost control.
• Act as the main interface with Group teams, aligning with global engineering standards and reporting progress transparently.
• Coordinate external partners such as designers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and local authorities.
• Support procurement and tender processes, including bid evaluation and contract preparation with Purchasing and Legal.
• Integrate sustainability and energy efficiency targets, including LEED Silver (or equivalent) certification criteria, across design, construction and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, HSE regulations, quality systems and local legislation, and monitor on-site execution to avoid delays or cost overruns.
• Lead installation, commissioning and handover, and report progress, finances, risks and milestones to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, industrial or related).
• 5-8 years of experience in engineering project execution, preferably in factory construction or large industrial CAPEX.
• Proven project management experience, including budget, cash flow and contractor management.
• Experience in FMCG or multinational manufacturing is an advantage; experience with sustainable projects and LEED Silver is an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix and international organisation.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work on site and travel as required; location is Tire, Izmir.
