English Class Teacher

About the role

The English Class Teacher will create and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate English lessons for early childhood and primary students at Pandan International Academy and Preschool. This full‑time, on‑site position in Istanbul focuses on developing reading, writing, speaking and listening skills while fostering a supportive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and international standards.
• Teach English classes, encouraging active participation and language practice.
• Assess student progress through observations, tests and assignments, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, well‑managed classroom atmosphere that supports diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, attend staff meetings and contribute to school events.
• Communicate regularly with families about student development and classroom activities.

Required profile

• Degree or certification in Education, English or a related field (preferred).
• New graduate or 1–3 years of teaching experience with children.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to work in an international or multicultural school setting.
• Excellent organizational skills and reliability.
