Export Area Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Export Area Sales Manager for the newly established Turkish subsidiary of an international chemical manufacturer with over 30 years in the fragrance industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve international sales targets.
• Collect and analyse market data to identify export opportunities.
• Conduct new market and customer research and report findings to management.
• Participate in international fairs and evaluate new business opportunities.
• Manage export orders, communicate with customers and monitor shipment processes.
• Prepare quotations and close sales by negotiating pricing, payment, delivery terms and contract conditions.
• Analyse export sales performance and regularly report results.
• Prepare the annual export budget, sales forecasts and track revenue and profitability targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Economics, Foreign Trade, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in export sales and international business development, preferably in the fragrance industry.
• Advanced proficiency in English and willingness to travel internationally.

Required skills

• Ability to develop and implement international sales and marketing strategies.
• Experience in penetrating new markets and building distributor, agent and dealer networks.
• Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis, budget management and reporting.
• Solid knowledge of export operations.
