Export Control Business Partner

About the role

Join Siemens' Compliance & Export Control organization in Turkey as an Export Control Business Partner. You will act as the key interface between business units, management, authorities, and Siemens Export Control experts worldwide, supporting compliance, business growth, and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and operational teams to ensure compliance with global Export Control and Sanctions regulations.
• Act as a trusted advisor for Sales, Procurement, Project Management, Engineering, Logistics, Finance, People & Organization, and other functions.
• Monitor geopolitical developments and assess their impact on business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Drive implementation of Siemens' global Export Control framework and local compliance requirements.
• Review and approve export‑control‑relevant transactions, classifications, licenses, and due‑diligence activities.
• Engage with government authorities regarding export license applications and regulatory matters.
• Lead awareness, communication, and training initiatives across the organization.
• Support audits, investigations, and reviews while driving continuous improvement of compliance processes.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Business Administration, International Trade, Engineering, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong experience in Export Control, Sanctions Compliance, International Trade Compliance, Legal Compliance, Customs, or related areas.
• Solid understanding of international trade regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to balance compliance requirements with business objectives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with senior management and cross‑functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
• Fluency in English and Turkish.

Required skills

• Knowledge of global Export Control and Sanctions regulations.
• Experience with export‑control transaction review, classification, and licensing processes.
• Familiarity with government authority engagement on export matters.
