Export Project Manager - Industrial Kitchen Projects

About the role

This role manages international industrial kitchen projects end-to-end, from the proposal stage through to final delivery. The position sits in Istanbul and involves coordinating technical, commercial and operational aspects of large projects, including client relationships, budgets, contracts and international logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client requirements and develop suitable technical and commercial solutions, while managing client relationships
• Prepare and oversee technical and commercial proposals, cost analyses, project budgets and contractual processes
• Coordinate kitchen layout planning, equipment selection, technical specifications and BOQ preparation
• Keep projects within budget, timeline, quality standards, risk management and profitability goals
• Coordinate production, procurement, supply, shipment and international logistics with the relevant departments
• Oversee installation teams, subcontractors and on-site operations, including testing, commissioning and handover
• Manage changes in project scope and additional work to keep clients satisfied
• Monitor progress billing, invoicing and collection
• Help evaluate new project opportunities, lead the project team and report regularly to senior management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering or architecture
• At least 9 years of total project management experience, with expertise in industrial kitchen systems and turnkey projects
• Proven experience managing the technical, commercial and operational sides of international projects
• Experience in proposal preparation, cost analysis, budget management, contracts and project profitability
• Advanced written and spoken English; strong client relationship, negotiation, problem-solving, team leadership and organization skills
• Class B driver's license with active driving experience, no restrictions on domestic or international travel
• Preferably residing on the European side of Istanbul
